Michael Greenlee 

Mike is our primary instructor and the face of Eko Music Studios. Some of his earliest memories center around his love for music and his participation in music education activities. Mike began taking piano lessons at the age of five. He played alto saxophone in symphonic band in middle and high school. He also played piano in Jazz Band as well. Mike continued to take piano lessons until 16. At that time he became interested in guitar and started teaching himself to play by searching tablature on the internet. He moved to Florida  and began playing in the youth band at his church. In 2010 he took a position as a youth director and worship leader at his church while also studying music at Florida State College at Jacksonville. From that time on he has been playing professionally and directing music for worship teams in the Jacksonville area. While he taught private lessons on the side, in 2019 Mike saw a need to train other musicians to lead worship in the church. He started and led a music school at a local church, and in 2023 he launched Eko Music Studios as a Christian based, family owned and operated organization.

Samantha Greenlee

Samantha is the passionate, quiet, and hard working office manager of Eko Music Studios. Music has always been a central part of her life. At the age of five, Sam began taking piano lessons and continued for about 6 years. While she dabbles with piano, her passion is singing and teaching young children. Sam sang in the church choir as a child, teenager, and later in the adult choir where she eventually began singing solos. When there was a need for a bass guitarist in the worship band, Mike taught her the basics and she picked up enough to be able to play for worship. During the week, Sam is an exceptional student education teacher at a local public elementary school which means she is also very passionate about planning and co-teaching small group lessons for some of our youngest students. Samantha handles a lot of our behind the scenes tasks for content planning, creation, and business management.
